If you have just bought a desktop or laptop PC and need some assistance in setting up and configuration, Saphite is here to help.

What does this service include?

• Unpacking and checking all parts and peripherals
• Connecting the PC
• Configuring the BIOS
• Configuring the operating system, including setting up user accounts and passwords, securing the Local Administrator account, a guided tour of features, and how to perform further customisation
• Connecting to wired or wireless network or setting up an internet connection, including mobile broadband
• Connecting to any pre-existing or newly purchased peripherals such as printers and scanners, including installing software and a demo if required
• Performing Windows Updates if required
• Installing, activating and registering purchased or pre-owned software, including antivirus and security software, advising as necessary
• Transfer of user and application data to the new computer
• A full service report explaining what was performed

Where can this service take place?

• At home (Recommended)
• At Saphite (Some of the above steps, such as  connecting to wired or wireless networks, cannot be performed at Saphite)
